At Midwives Care we have the ability to cater to the needs of all women and work in partnership with you to meet your individual expectations. Some services may need a referral for our services. You can contact us via phone, email or facebook and we can organise an appointment for you at our practice.

We believe that all women should be able to access Midwifery services and have affordable pricing options. We are confident we have an option to suit your needs. The initial appointment is where all fee and options for care are explained.

Medicare rebates are available for most of our services. We offer some bulk billing for women who meet criteria to ensure that all women can receive this care. All private health funds offer rebates for our services, some offering more than others. All of these options will be outlined at the initial appointment.

Midwives Care has helped many women and their families that do not have access to Medicare. You can receive quality care for your pregnancy, birth and post birth at a cost that meets your needs. A Midwife that knows you and understands your needs is more likely to do their best to provide the care tailored to your financial requirements.

We specialise in vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC) and are able to provide assessment, counselling and support for those appropriate for VBAC. We facilitate consultation with our medical colleagues and work collaboratively to provide optimum care.

We can also provide care for women having an elective caesarean section and can help you have a good experience.

We are experienced in providing support for feeding and settling problems with your baby.  This care is provided regularly to help identify problems early and prevent any major complications from occurring. All our midwives are qualified lactation consultants and can provide a range of services including assessment of tongue ties.

Yes. Some women choose to only see a Midwife in the Post birth stage. This is a great opportunity for the midwife to offer a debriefing from your birth, wellness check for mum and a weigh and wellness check for bub. This also includes assistance with feeding and settling bubs.

Some women choose to only see a lactation consultant. Seeing a lactation consultant in your pregnancy can lead to a more successful breastfeeding journey.  You are welcome to see us through your pregnancy, or for the duration of your breastfeeding.  We can support you both in your breastfeeding experience and in caring for your new born. This includes taking time to listen and address your concerns and treating more complex problems such as feeding concerns, low supply, sore nipples and attachment issues.

Yes at Midwives Care we love supporting Student Midwives to become competent and caring Midwives and offer a student to follow your journey through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal.
